(Tuesday, July 16, 2013) The death toll in the Lac-Megantic train disaster
has risen to 37, and police said many more people are still missing
and “likely deceased". Over 1,000 people were evacuated from their homes
after a runaway train derailement led to several explosions
and a major fire in the center of downtown.
